We’re committed to protecting the planet and making a positive impact on our people, partners, clients, and the communities we visit. Every action we take is designed to reduce our environmental footprint and champion responsibility across everything we do.

These actions reduce carbon emissions from commuting, lower energy use through more sustainable electrical purchasing, and cut electronic waste by extending the life of our equipment – therefore, helping to shrink our overall environmental impact.

Solar Panels

In summer 2022, we made a major investment by installing large solar panels on our Derby roof, generating clean energy for our operations.

Smart Lighting

Our A++ smart lighting adjusts automatically to save energy without compromising comfort.

Electric Vehicles

Nearly all our company vehicles are now fully electric or plug-in hybrid, supported by on-site charging points we’ve installed over the past few years.

Paper & Plastic

We’re cutting down on paper and single-use plastics wherever possible, including ending printed brochures and reducing disposable items across our offices.

Reduced Commutes

Over 100 team members work in hybrid roles, significantly reducing commuting emissions and supporting a greener way of working.

Vamoos App

Our in-tour app Vamoos cuts back on the need for itineraries, documents and any other form of paper.

Carbon Output Balancing

We balance our unavoidable HQ carbon emissions, like those from essential electrical use – through global green initiatives such as C-Level.

Carbon Solutions Available

Tour emissions can now be assessed using our carbon calculator, with balancing choices available to suit each trip. This only calculates flights and accommodation.

The Rayburn Travel Group provides trips and events for young people across the UK who we believe should have access to the same opportunities as past generations.

We are working hard to limit our impact on the environment and support projects that provide young people with the opportunity to experience the benefits of travel and learning outside the classroom.
